This apprenticeship is designed to help you develop the skills and expertise to become a certified BMW technician. Whether you’re a recent graduate from the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) or have relevant training in automotive technology, we encourage you to apply!Get your career in gear today!Responsibilities:As an Apprentice Technician you will be responsible for completing assigned services and/or repairs in an efficient and effective manner, providing workmanship that displays pride and quality.
  • Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
  • Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining BMW vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
  • Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
Qualifications:
  • Time Management- ability to manage one’s own.
  • Graduation from Universal Technical Institute (UTI) or similar accredited program preferred
  • Passion for cars and a desire to grow in the automotive field, especially with the BMW brand
  • Ability to learn quickly and take direction from senior technicians
  • Attention to detail.
  • Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
