Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital’s (NVRH) Center for Pain Management is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). At the Center for Pain Management, our mission is to collaborate with patients and develop personalized plans using a consultative, interventional, and non-opioid approach to effectively manage their pain. As a CMA, you will perform duties and contribute to the safe and quality care of patients under the supervision or direction of an MD, DO, PA, or NP.Key Responsibilities:
Flexible team member proficient in patient greeting, efficient patient flow management, and effective communication regarding appointment changes.
Contribute to initial office visit assessments, including recording health history, updating PFSH, obtaining required screenings, and taking vital signs.
Proficient in maintaining sterile instruments, equipment setup and maintenance, assisting with pain interventional procedures, and performing delegated medical procedures such as EKGs, injections and point of care testing.
