- Apply current instructional design theory, research, and best practices to create effective and engaging training products, learning experiences, and workshops.
- Manage instructional design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals.
- Utilize structured project plans, timelines, and track progress using project management tools for training delivery.
- Attend regular project status meetings and provide updates to your manager as needed.
- Assess learner needs and create learning solutions that address business goals and support sales metrics, including e-learning courses, blended learning, microlearning, simulations, gamification, guides, process documentation, infographics, job aids, and coaching.
- Contribute to necessary planning documents such as training plans and storyboards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure instructional material accuracy and relevance.
- Utilize technology to enhance and create immersive, interactive, and accessible learning experiences, including audio, video, simulations, and gamification.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
- Build assessments to gauge the attainment of critical skills and abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, training and development, instructional design, communication, or related areas.
- Tenured experience with instructional design and eLearning development.
- Advanced proficiency developing in Articulate 360 tools (including Rise & Storyline).
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Audition, Acrobat, Illustrator) and Articulate 360 tools (Rise, Storyline).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience creating xAPI-enabled content for deployment in a learning experience platform (LXP).
- Experience in creating and editing videos and software simulations for eLearning.
- Administrator experience with LearnUpon.
- Experience developing learning solutions for a global audience; adjusting materials based on cultural needs, regional constraints, and translation and localization.
- Experience using Airtable and Asana for project planning and database management.
- Experience using data analytics tools and building dashboards.
- The target annual compensation for this position can range from $85,000.00-$105,000.00, with a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of the fiscal year-end.
