Consider joining our teaching team at our Primrose School of Liberty, Montessori-inspired, Child-initiated learning center.We are currently hiring for lead teachers in our older twos classrooms. We have up to 16 two year olds in each classroom with two teachers, who serve as co-leads, maintaining a 1:8 ratio.We believe that our teachers are the heart of our center, hence why Our current Teachers earn between $33,280 and 37,440 annually along with up to 6 weeks of paid time off!Our ideal candidate:
- Respects children and their natural curiosity
- Loves getting messy while learning
- Is patient and nurturing
- Is flexible and willing to follow the lead of children
- Is teachable and eager to grow as a teacher
- Is a team player, able to work collaboratively with other teachers
- Has at least two years of childcare experience and at least some college courses in education or child development (though we are willing to train the right candidate!)
- Has some experience with potty training
