- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred
- Must be willing to travel 95% or more in the Eastern United States (typically home on a monthly basis)
- Experienced in erecting new buildings and redevelopment construction of historic buildings, industrial, manufacturing buildings, labs and multifamily residential projects.
- 5 or more years' of construction experience as a Superintendent on the construction jobsite
- Responsibility for the project site with a focus on safety, quality, budget, design input and schedule
- Monitor building costs, monitor budget and update organized reporting status
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, maintain quality and provide input to the design team for project installation issues
- Knowledge of construction safety and maintain subcontractor relationships
- Hold subcontractor weekly status meetings, track meeting minutes to document, reporting issues to Project Manager.
- Document on-site activities that may impede progress or compliance to project/contract requirements as well as progress documentation concrete, foundation, and precast installs
- Attend meetings on construction bid reviews and buy-out team efforts for material and sub-contracted services
- Manage project team members and support staff in building development
- Familiar with project management principles, methods and techniques
- Experience with PROCORE project management software, Microsoft Project Schedule and CPM analysis is a plus
