Job Description:ResponsibilitiesNoblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), NAWCAD Engineering & Logistics for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Mission Operations and Integration (MO&I), and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.Noblis is looking to hire an Engineer/Scientist with engineering experience in packaging materials or container testing who will work on the design, development, or testing of components and systems for various projects employing knowledge of engineering principles. Follows the Systems Engineering Technical Review process and may be responsible for specific portions of the project.You will provide engineering, technical, and logistics support to national defense by supporting engineering solutions used in critical Navy aviation programs.This is a fast-growing program with opportunity for growth and advancement.
Required QualificationsBachelor's of Science in Engineering or Packaging Science.
  • Active DoD security clearance at SECRET level
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Requires 3+ years of engineering experience in packaging materials or container testing.
  • Testing of electrical/ software components
  • 10-25% travel required
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with military specifications for technical design
  • Experience working with detailed specifications under configuration management
  • Experience interfacing directly with US military technical representatives
  • Experience working with equipment suppliers and vendors

The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.Posted Salary RangeUSD $77,000.00 - USD $120,275.00 /Yr.
