- Leadership to the US Medical Device & Aesthetics businesses Supply Planning team and accountable for supply planning activities to maintain required product availability for the patient and to meet strategic and financial needs of each brand while balancing IME/TPM plan requirements.
- Drive resolution of elevated challenges around supply disruptions, capacity constraints, or other issues that may impact the availability of product for our customers and patients. Ensure proper communication of such challenges to senior leaders in Operations and the broader AbbVie organization.
- Lead strategic programs that support enhancement of planning capabilities to meet the needs of the evolving organization. Influential in establishing business case for change with senior management
- Identify and evaluate continuous improvement opportunities to elevate performance of teams and seek organizational efficiencies. Sponsor projects within the team to implement such continuous improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders including, but not limited to, Distribution & Logistics, Operations Brand Management, Demand Planning, Commercial, Quality, Internal Manufacturing & Engineering, External Supply and Finance.
- Management oversight of the critical partnership between Supply Planning and manufacturing sites including external suppliers, accountable for the success of the joint planning processes.
- Deliver short and long-term financial, customer service, and other performance goals of the Supply Chain organization.
- Member of the Global Supply Planning leadership team supporting and assisting with global supply strategy development and deployment.
- Motivate, coach, and develop managers and supervisors to becoming great people leaders. Drive the AbbVie culture across the team and create and sustain a positive environment displaying high levels of motivation and excellent team spirit.
- Bachelor or Master level in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Management required.
- Master of Business Administration strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Operations, including strong experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing. Experience working in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment desired.
- Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices experience required.
- Excellent leadership and people management experience required.
- Strategic mindset and ability to think at an enterprise level.
- Strong communication skills and executive presence for interacting with senior leaders.
- Ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven success in leading effective teams and fostering collaboration across cultural and organizational boundaries.
- Proven ability to manage, implement, and influence large change management programs.
