- Ability to commute to the plant location (Los Alamitos, CA).
- Eligible to meet plant EAR/ITAR Compliance requirements (see below)
- Assist with CAD modeling, drafting, and documentation for product designs.
- Support engineering team in developing technical drawings and specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on engineering solutions.
- Assist in conducting testing, analysis, and validation of prototypes or components.
- Support documentation of engineering processes, test data, and project progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and deadlines.
- Perform basic research and data analysis to contribute to design improvements.

- Currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
- Rising junior or senior (must be enrolled at least through the summer).
- Ability to commute to the Los Alamitos, CA plant location.
- Must be able to work at least 20 hours/week or full-time during the summer.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and design concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Able to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry lightweight materials or tools as needed.
