Details for the Shipping / Receiving | Material Handler positions:
- $16/Hour
- Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
- 40+ hours per week
- Shipping / Receiving: Monday-Friday | 6am-2:30pm
- Order Picker / Cherry Picker: Monday-Friday | 2pm-10:30pm
- Paid Weekly, Direct Deposit options
- Responsible for the unloading and checking in freight and break down products as needed
- Moving and rotating products; maintain product and unit information to ensure the correct products are being received and stocked
- Learn and execute all aspects involved in replenishing inventory
- Utilizes handheld electronic devices to accurately record quantities and locations
- Follow procedures for checking merchandise - maintains knowledge of all computer and RF functions needed
- Maintain clean, tidy work environment
- Report damages, mechanical issues, and disorderly areas to supervisor
- Adheres to all customer request according to established policies
- Operates all warehouse equipment efficiently in a safe manner to avoid injury to personnel and equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Cherry picker/forklift experience is preferred for Order Selector/Picker position
- Minimum 1-year related work experience
- Forklift operation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
