- Assists with the hiring, training, development and supervision of IT department staff
- Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments as well as trains, motivates and evaluates assigned staff
- Establishes department standards, guidelines and objectives, and maintains other administrative processes such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas
- Manages all computer and telephone systems to ensure their successful performance and maintenance in support of the facility’s operations
- Performs routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting on all supported equipment at the facility to identify potential problems and coordinate necessary repairs
- Works with other department leaders and their teams to meet their technological needs as well as ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with regulations
- Assumes responsibility for the maintenance of data-related security controls to ensure authorized access to the facility’s technological systems
- Maintains inventory on all IT-related equipment, such as computer tapes, disks, and other storage media, and recommends purchase decisions to other department leaders
- Prepares system reports and maintains department documentation of systems and procedures to maintain the integrity of the facility’s operational computer and telephone systems
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management
- Ability to respond to common inquiries, complaints, or service requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated working knowledge of software and web applications as well as system hardware
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field
- Two to four years of work experience in information technology or related field
- Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The employee may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- The employee may be exposed to smoke when on the floor of the gaming room.
