The PSR II creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence, delivering high-quality service in alignment with established practices, procedures, and company values. Assignments may include working in a physician's office, patient service center, or other designated locations based on business needs.Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily collection and processing activities accurately, efficiently, and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
Collect and process both forensic and clinical specimens following established protocols.
Verify patient demographics and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the presence of patients.
Maintain required records, documentation, and compliance with all regulations.
Provide exceptional patient service, fostering trust and maintaining professionalism at all times.
Support a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive company image to patients, clients, and staff.
Exhibit leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to confidentiality.
Job Requirements:
Ability to provide error-free work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Ability to travel and work at multiple locations with minimal notice; reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record required (if applicable).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to handle multiple priorities.
Commitment to company policies, safety standards, and dress code.
Demonstrated customer focus, adaptability, and ability to embrace change.
Keyboard/data entry skills required.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Work Experience:
Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
At least two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Job Details:
8 hour shifts.
Must be flexible.
$25/hr + benefits
