  • Efficiently and precisely processes large batches of invoices, preventing processing errors and delays through attention to detail.
  • Accurately keys freight invoice data into the Oracle system, ensuring all required fields are completed.
  • Receives direction from AP team members on invoice prioritization and collaborates heavily with the team to resolve invoice-related issues.
What You'll Bring to Our TeamEntry-Level Finance CompetenciesPerforms foundational finance tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and routine reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness by following established procedures, checklists, and standard work routines.Work is routine and closely supervised; problems faced are straightforward with clearly defined solutions.Demonstrates attention to detail in completing assigned financial transactions and tasks; manages time effectively to meet established deadlines under guidance.Communicates clearly and respectfully with team members, sharing basic financial updates and asking clarifying questions to confirm understanding of instructions or expectations.Adheres strictly to standardized policies, procedures, and internal controls; flags inconsistencies or errors to others and supports compliance activities.Responds promptly to internal requests for basic financial information and support, escalating questions or issues beyond scope of knowledge.Requires limited job knowledge of financial systems and procedures; builds foundational understanding while following basic work routines and standards.Educational and Experiential Background
  • Possesses basic knowledge of relevant systems and procedures, acquired through prior work experience or education.
  • Strong background in data entry and data accuracy.
Preferred Education/Experience
  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration and/or related discipline or minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or related fields.
Working Conditions & Travel Requirements
  • This is a part-time role, 19 hours per week.
  • Working conditions are typical for an office environment.
  • 0% ongoing travel; Occasional conference and/or external training attendance may be required at time
