Our natural setting is enhanced by its modern, attractive, and state-of-the-art classroom buildings and support facilities.Learn more information !PURPOSEThis position is responsible for providing administrative support to faculty, other staff, and students in the Department of Engineering.RESPONSIBILITIESDepartment Assistance: 45%Assists in the development of office procedures, including complex or specialized functionsMakes arrangements for conferences, appointments and travel.Requesting Travel approvals and reconciling Purchasing Card expenses including GSA rate comparisons and other required documentation to ensure compliance.Creating courses in Banner and running course, schedule and student reports using Argos.Verifies, processes, and reviews forms, reports, tables, and other documents for accuracy and completion, including collecting and filing forms for prerequisite waivers, registration hold releases, and other academic processes.Support faculty/program coordinators in updating information in Banner; assigning classrooms in ASTRA, and if necessary, create new sections, new courses with adequate seating, checking and maintaining records of capacity in classes; assisting in the timely collection of syllabi.
