- Adept at identifying opportunities for innovation and impact by vetting and putting forth the right celebrities, creators, tastemakers, emerging talent and collaborators in new and exciting ways.
- Own cross-channel communications campaigns in culture, lifestyle, fashion, home, retail, entertainment and/or related fields.
- Create opportunities to grow brand awareness, and build/strengthen credibility and emotional connections among our customers for earned media coverage.
- Works cross-functionally with merchandising and channel leads to develop seasonal and annual PR and influencer frameworks aligned to regional brand and commercial objectives.
- Lead both organic seeding and paid partnerships to supplement talent and amplify regional product strategy, sample programming and showroom management.
- Establish and maintain key relationships with editors, stylists, influencers, tastemakers, brand partners, etc. with messaging on the brand and product newness with consistent outreach related to brand news, events, seeding, etc.
- Support Influencer strategy and the 360 approaches across talent, product and storytelling for brand and influencer channels.
- Oversee and execute all aspects of brand sponsorships/partnerships/collaborations including strategic planning, project management, ongoing relationship management and cross-functional working groups/collaboration.
- Event and experiential activation ownership inclusive of planning and execution (e.g., guest experience, event layout, agency and vendor management, entertainment bookings, décor and scenic, asset creation, catering, permitting and logistics, contract negotiations); production schedules and timelines; budget ownership; and post event ROI reporting.
- Drive regional events strategy for media/influencer activations and local retail events aligned to the brand marketing and cultural calendar deliver engaging customer experiences.
- Manage PR and West Coast agencies and consultants on strategy, execution, events and results.
- Establish strong relationships and collaboration with relevant stakeholders throughout the organization (Design, Merchandising, Visuals, Creative, Media, Social) to inform on-going and always-on planning and business/brand alignment throughout the season.
- High attention to detail with demonstrated ability to care for multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Function as a thought leader that generates strategic ideas for amplification and activations across all existing and first to market platforms.
- Concrete experience managing complex projects and programs requiring thorough leadership to align multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with integrated marketing approaches related to influencer strategies, experiential activations, affiliate/paid programs, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, understand business challenges and recommend effective implementation plans designed to drive results.
- Responsible for planning, budget, KPIs and end results; co-set policies and strategic direction for area/team and agency partners.
- Manage budgets and seasonal timelines and updates.
- Report to Head of PR and Communications.
- Personality and composure to work with senior executives and major media outlets
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within budgets and on schedule
- Ability to determine solutions independently, think creatively, and implement rapidly
- Understanding of how brand engagement fits into the larger picture of marketing; Voracious consumer of culture, technology, and fashion and able to create stories/digital experiences at the intersection of all three
