- Independently execute engineering designs, studies, and technical calculations
- Manage portions of projects or small projects from scoping through final deliverables
- Review and develop technical specifications, construction documents, and cost estimates
- Conduct and oversee field investigations, construction monitoring, and data analysis
- Evaluate and mitigate project risks; contribute to QA/QC processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and completeness
- Serve as a technical liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies
- Support proposal development and provide input on scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction, or Geotechnical Engineering
- 5+ years of progressive engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; travel as needed
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) and project documentation tools
- Solid knowledge of industry regulations, construction practices, and risk management
- Effective communication and leadership skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- This position primarily operates in our Phoenix, AZ location
- Work is conducted using a computer, phone, and virtual collaboration tools, with regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders
