
Contract Associate Director, Medical Operations

- Assist in the planning and execution of medical congresses
- Assist in the planning and execution of Advisory boards to include, consulting agreements, FMV assessments and aggregate spend reporting
- Contributes to the overall project management of other Medical Affairs projects (training, grant reviews, HEOR projects, etc.) and assists the project owner(s) in the monitoring of project milestones, deliverables and budget
- Collaborates with the internal cross departmental colleagues/stakeholders and external consultants/vendor representatives to ensure timely, quality execution of activities and projects
- Assists in supporting cross-functional communication among the MA functional teams through appropriate methods
- Ensures team plans and activities are integrated into higher level planning documents and calendars
- Assists in the monitoring and management of MA programmatic financial and contracting activities
- Advanced scientific degree (Doctorate degree preferred: PhD, PharmD, or MD)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry or related fields
- Experience in medical affairs operations is preferred
- Demonstrated high level of competence with computers is essential; to include extensive experience with MS Office Applications is required
- Ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external key stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Must possess excellent organization skills and be able to operate effectively in a heavily metricized organization, where a demanding workload requires flexibility and balancing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal interaction skills
- Ability to operate in a highly dynamic, changing, and matrixed environment
