Our versatile engineering teams excel in creating electronic systems for the evolving electronic vehicle propulsion and autonomy markets, guiding projects from concept to production.Position Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to oversee and drive ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance. The Quality Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our processes and products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This individual will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems to drive continuous improvement and excellence throughout the organization.Location & Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5 (flexible)
On-site at our Ann Arbor, MI headquarters, 4-5 days per week (flexible)
Occasional visits to our manufacturing location in Auburn Hills, MIResponsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage customer quality requirements and participate in customer audits and inspections.
  • Drive a culture of quality and excellence throughout the organization, promoting awareness and accountability at all levels.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification preferred
  • Extensive experience in quality management within the automotive industry, preferably with embedded software and electronic control units (ECUs)
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards and their application in automotive manufacturing
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality management systems in accordance with industry standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
