- Performing customer remote services, including:
- Executing remote hands services as requested by customers
- Communicating with customers in a timely manner
- Managing and documenting customer requests
- Providing customer reports as needed
- Supporting Operations Center functions, including:
- Utilizing monitoring applications and ticketing systems to support customers and data center operations teams
- Interacting responsively with operations teams for customer notifications
- Continuously observing and monitoring data center systems
- Conducting triage and delivering Level 1 support for trouble calls
- Monitoring maintenance activities and issuing notifications
- Supporting various data center projects
- Developing and maintaining operational processes and procedures
- Following documented processes and procedures, while suggesting improvements
- Embodying Sabey’s core values
- Ensuring the Operations Center meets or exceeds established goals and objectives
- Identifying and driving opportunities for the Operations Center to deliver additional services to internal and external customers
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Interfacing with technology and operating a computer
- Working independently with minimal instruction
- Interacting with all levels of Sabey employees and business partners, building and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Lifting up to 80 pounds and operating a variety of hand and power tools
- Working flexible support hours, including overtime, nights, and weekends
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some background in Information Technology (IT)
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, without compromising quality of work
- Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Advanced knowledge of the English language – excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of Sabey employees and business partners
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite– Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to maintain a strong focus on attention to detail
- Ability to learn other software and systems, including customer relationship management software.
- Must be committed to continuous learning and growing within the organization
