Required Qualifications: (as evidenced by an attached resume)
PhD, MD, or MD/PhD. Doctorate-level degree (or foreign equivalent) in a field relevant to human brain imaging, such as Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Psychiatry, Radiology, and Neurology, or General Medicine.Preferred Qualifications:
Prior research experience with human brain imaging such as PET or MRI. Prior experience with research administration and regulation, such as working with IRBs and the FDA. At least one peer-reviewed publication.Position Summary:
We are recruiting a Postdoctoral Associate to join our lab studying brain PET imaging for various disease-related targets in patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias or other neurological conditions. The Postdoctoral Associates primarily will be responsible for developing human clinical research protocols and preparing applications for IRB, RDRC, or IND, collecting PET and/or MRI data, image data analysis, and writing up results for publication in peer-reviewed journals. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, self-starting, curious, and collaborative. Computational and/or programming skill sets will also be highly valued. Clinical experience/licensure will be viewed favorably but is not a prerequisite for the position. The Postdoctoral Associate should have excellent communication skills. The initial appointment is expected to be for two years but could be extended pending sufficient funding and mutual interest.Duties:● PET and/or MRI image data collection and analysis● Human clinical research protocol development and preparation for regulatory reviews● Scientific writing, including peer-reviewed publications and grant application● Lab management and supervision● Other duties: As assignedSpecial Notes:
