DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONA member of the health care team who plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of speech therapy.QUALIFICATIONSProfessional/EducationalGraduate of an accredited program in speech and language pathology.Current IL State Speech Pathologist licensure and membership with ASHA; or Speech Pathologist licensure and CFY. When CCC (certificate of clinic competence) is obtained, ASHA membership is required.Basic computer knowledge.Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.PersonalEvidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.Appreciation of and desire to be a part of a health care team dedicated to providing patient optimal care.Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers offers a comprehensive benefit package; while this position is not eligible for most benefits, it does include:
