With strong carrier and vendor relationships, extensive industry expertise, and proprietary analytics, we provide comprehensive outsourced insurance services curated to the needs of our partners.Strategic Benefit Resources partners with employee benefit advisors, third party administrators and other intermediaries to provide customized outsourced stop-loss insurance services, specialized self-funded health plan expertise, and unique technology-driven solutions.This is all achieved through strong stop-loss carrier and vendor relationships, extensive industry expertise and proprietary risk analysis and decision support tools.Position OverviewThe Account Manager plays a critical role by managing stop-loss insurance policy implementations and administration and will support an assigned Producer Team and/or Teams. This position entails developing and maintaining strong relationships with insurance brokers (and their clients), and ensuring they receive the best possible service. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Employee Benefits Programs (and/or the Insurance industry), effective communication skills, and the ability to navigate multiple implementation projects. You will develop your expertise in stop-loss implementation and products and enhance your communication skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the implementation and administration of stop-loss insurance policies, ensuring accuracy with sold terms and conditionsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients, understanding their specific needs and providing tailored implementation and service solutionsAssist the Producer Team/Teams by managing a block of business of approximately 125 accounts and policy implementationsAddress client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfactionManage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of servicesCollaborate with team members on best practicesDevelop a solid understanding of stop-loss insurance products and market trendsAssist in the execution of company initiativesOther duties as required by clients, business needs, and/or assigned by ManagementKnowledge and SkillsStrong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skillsEffective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office SuiteEffective negotiation skills and a willingness to learn and growInterest in stop-loss insurance productsUnderstanding of stop-loss policy life cycle including, but not limited to, pre-sale, post-sale/implementation, and premium and claims administrative processesDiligent attention to detail and accuracyPreferred QualificationsCollege Degree or equivalent job experience2 years of experience working with Employee Benefits Programs in a brokerage firm or equivalent setting within the Insurance industryProficient understanding of Employee Benefits Programs, and/or within the Insurance industryPrior experience in a similar client-facing role within the Insurance industryApplicable state life and health license, or ability to obtain within 12 months of hireAwareness of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to the Insurance industryDisclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
