
Survey Technician

- Collaborate with all job site personnel to ensure safety protocols are implemented and followed, creating a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Thoroughly review contract documents and specifications before executing work to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
- Keep an updated set of “as built” documents in accordance with specification requirements, ensuring accurate records of the project’s progress and changes.
- Perform construction surveying layout tasks on the jobsite to ensure accurate placement and alignment of project elements. Perform Bathymetric Sonar Survey on Marine jobsite to ensure accurate placement and alignment of project elements on the subaqueous Marine portion.
- Oversee the coordination, supervision, and review of subcontractor work to ensure it meets project standards and timelines.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to the crew, fostering a productive and supportive work environment.
- A high school diploma or GED
- Technical knowledge of hydrographic equipment like GPS, Total Stations, Data collector, Auto Levels, multibeam sonar, side scan sonar, echo sounders, and sound velocity profilers.
- Basic computer skills for data acquisition and processing with Hypack and CAD software.
- Performing data acquisition and processing under supervision of the Survey Manager.
