Our client, an exceptional National Law firm is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support the Private Client group in our Naples office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in estate and trust administration, with a strong background in Federal transfer tax matters.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the administration of estates and trusts, including collection, valuation, reporting, and distribution of assets.Prepare asset inventories and schedules from various financial sources.Draft and e-file probate pleadings and trust accounting documents with accuracy and attention to deadlines.Prepare federal and state fiduciary income tax, estate tax, and gift tax returns under attorney or CPA supervision.Track deadlines, maintain calendars, and proactively update attorneys on case status and upcoming tasks.Serve as the liaison between attorneys and clients throughout the life of a matter.Edit, proofread, and review documents for legal compliance and clarity.Utilize estate/trust administration and tax preparation software effectively.Record and review billable time entries in a timely and accurate manner.Qualifications:ABA-approved paralegal certification or equivalent experience; four-year degree preferred.Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in Florida estate and trust administration.Familiarity with Florida probate law, e-filing procedures, and court systems.Preferred experience in preparing federal estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estate administration software.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet deadlines.High attention to detail, sound judgment, and confidentiality required.
