The healthcare landscape has become highly competitive, with new players and disruptive technology and we are working to expand and create our system’s organizational, leadership, cultural, and talent capabilities to ensure Hartford HealthCare will always be the first choice of the people we serve.Reporting to the Director, University Relations and the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, the Program Manager – Community Sourcing and Recruitment is responsible for leading and coordinating Hartford HealthCare’s community-based talent acquisition activities.
  • Program Manager will support programmatic on-the-ground talent acquisition and sourcing activities in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison with participating external workforce programs including, but not limited to, State of CT healthcare programs, CT Workforce boards, Army PAYs program, neighborhood groups, community organizations and other external associations to source and hire diverse talent through frequent activities and branding events to ensure high-quality communication.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including HHC’s Center for Equity and Neighborhood Health, to support hiring activities and represent talent acquisition through committee participation, strategy development and performance improvement activities.
  • Develop and implement, with the assistance of Talent Acquisition leadership, a strategic plan for outreach to community agencies, external programs and internal stakeholders to optimize Hartford HealthCare’s recruitment of a diverse, qualified talent pool, in alignment with our mission and values.
  • Participate in hiring events, information sessions and other meetings to increase the visibility of Hartford HealthCare opportunities in the community.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to discuss, formulate and evaluate recruitment opportunities for pipeline programs. Evaluate whether efforts are aligned with results.
  • Identify opportunities for new partners and design programs as needed.
  • Work closely with recruiters to find placements for community-based candidate referrals and develop constructive relationships internally within Talent Acquisition. Collaborate with University Relations colleagues on overlapping initiatives, development of programs and partnership opportunities.
  • Track, and analyze the progress of the Programs to create an effective evaluation model including, the development of key performance indexes, dashboards and other reporting mechanisms to effectively demonstrate, communicate the value proposition of the programs.

QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor’s Degree 3-5 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master's Degree preferred
Experience
  • Experience in recruitment or marketing required
  • Previous experience working/volunteering in community-based activities preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
  • A passion for leading, shaping, and refining Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) within our programs that optimize talent acquisition and talent development is preferred.
  • Demonstrate managing complex and multi-faceted programs with the ability to drive projects through completion
  • Creativity in hiring events.
  • Must possess experience in a collegiate environment and have the ability to interact with faculty and administrator.
  • Excellent verbal communications and presentation development skills (PowerPoint) are required.
  • Ability to effectively plan, manage and prioritize multiple projects at a variety of stages.
  • Must be able to work independently and also within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate extremely strong analytical skills, as well as personal organizational skills.
  • Exhibit a collaborative work style within a multi-national company.
  • This position requires travel for campus activities, etc.
