Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer (24-00208)Job Location: 305 Franklin Street, Columbus, Indiana 47201, and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.DutiesLER TechForce, LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in Columbus, Indiana, and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of time. Duties: support the development of technical documentation (requirements, designs, testing, reports); support process and configuration management activities; support all phases of controls system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases; support the development, validation and management of stakeholder needs and controls system architecture and design; update processes and matrices to support the development of embedded controls systems to ensure compliance with industry standards; monitor metrics and audit team development to ensure implementation of quality processes; support third-party process assessments (ASPICE, CMMI, IATF 16949); apply quality assurance techniques; assess defect trends to identify systemic causes of defects and recommend process improvement actions; perform feasibility and trade analyses; facilitate and document change management and action item tracking, and risk and interface analysis activities; participate in cross functional team and management review group meetings; capture, process, utilize and share lessons learned.RequirementsBachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, industrial engineering, or related field, and 3 years of experience (gained at any time) in any engineering or technical role which included at least one of the skills listed below. Included within the 3 years of experience, must have any amount of experience in all of the following: safety and risk analysis (Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis); version control and requirements management software; analysis of stakeholder requirements and translation tools (KJ, QFD, DOORS, or Polarion); HIL systems; architecting principles; boundary diagrams, P-diagrams, state flow diagrams, and functional and interface analysis; MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, LabVIEW, PTC Integrity or Rhapsody; control system architecture; case modeling; criteria based decision matrices.#LI-DNP
