The Food Service Account Manager/Cook serves a dual role in that they are responsible for fulfilling and completing deliveries to CFS customers. They are responsible to prepare meals from scratch following exact recipes and specifications using a variety of cooking methods while following all food safety guidelines and procedures. They are responsible for filling customer orders to 100% through proper measurements, portion control, product labeling and staging methods. They are responsible for representing CFS in a positive manner while ensuring that CFS customers are receiving the highest level of customer service.What you'll bring
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid WA State Food Handler's card.
  • At least 2 years' experience in food service account management or restaurant management.
  • At least 6 months experience as a delivery driver (any type) and have some knowledge of the area of service.
  • Ability to comprehend local maps and directions
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Experience in developing positive relationships and handling customers' needs.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures and transportation laws.
  • Must possess a valid driver license and qualify as a PHS Approved Driver.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Minimum 1-year high volume commercial cooking
  • Must be able to accurately follow and scale recipes
  • Must have excellent knife skills
  • Must understand food service terminology
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
Preferably you'll bring
  • Some experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Culinary school experience preferred
