We have clinics in Clifton, Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction, Rifle, and Montrose.Swann Clinic is hiring for behavior technicians and credentialed RBTs.Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary Behavioral Health Center of Excellence applied behavior analysis (ABA) clinic on the Western Slope committed to children with autism and developmental disabilities and their families. Our culture is one of ethical integrity, cross-disciplinary treatment, and evidence-based interventions. We believe children flourish when practitioners use their expert knowledge in their field to collaborate and develop goals with other experts. We DO NOT use physical management or safety care for any interventions. Ours is an ASSENT based, trauma informed practice. So, if you are not sure what kind of career you want in the mental health and helping professions, we are here to support you in that journey!!!Previous work as a paraprofessional or special needs clinician, babysitting/nannying, preschool and school work, or align well with our goals and mission. Skills learned in this field can enhance your overall ability to work with children in a variety of settings. As a behavior technician, you will be working as a paraprofessional and behavior therapist in the field of behavior analysis. You will collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide ABA services to children in a clinical setting. You will be responsible for teaching and documenting a variety of skills under the direction of the BCBA. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with families and support them while they watch their children flourish and gain new skills and experiences.Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean background check.
  • Current RBT credential or willing to obtain once hired.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Skill with iPads and technology.
  • Ability to interact well with children.
  • Proficient writing and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and creativity as time management skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and with others.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time (30 minutes or more).
  • Ability to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
*Great position for students who are in school for education, preschool and daycare teachers, students interested in psychology or social work, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other related fields. Some RBTs move into counseling and testing positions, even Speech Pathology Language Assistant positions, once they enter their master's programs.Provided:

This means we deliver applied behavioral analysis therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and individual mental health counseling to neurodiverse children ages 1-7. Neurodiversity includes diagnoses such as global developmental delays, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and learning disorders. Ours is a trauma informed model with assent based practices. This means, we respect the boundaries and feelings of our learners, honor their ability to say no or not engage, allow them to fully be themselves, and only teach skills their parents agree to that honor their uniqueness. Our learners grow through play-based interventions, which helps them develop valuable skills they can use later in school and life. Our learners engage in crafts, circle time, quiet time, group lunches, music and movement, and other special activities together. Swann Clinic is a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE). We have professional organizations within our clinics, such as diversity, equity, and inclusion and ethics committees. We have bi-weekly trainings to better hone our skills and teach our team valuable lessons about ABA and other disciplines. Our clinic is open 8-4, Monday through Friday. No weekends are required. Work outside of work hours is highly discouraged. We have the week of the 4th of July and Christmas off. Memorial day and Labor day are also days off. MLK, Juneteenth, and Native American Heritage Day are paid days off.
