The Garrett Group is actively seeking a User Activity Monitoring (UAM) Analyst to bolster our Insider Threat Program team based in the National Capital Region/Washington DC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing, developing, and implementing UAM policies and procedures aimed at protecting national security interests. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including the development and implementation of UAM policies, procedures, and standards to detect and prevent potential threats to national security. You will also serve as an integral member of the Government-led Insider Threat - UAM Analysis Team, with a focus on Information Assurance (IA)/Computer Network Defense (CND) and Security.Additionally, you will be expected to fulfill DoD 8140.01 Cyberspace IA Workforce Improvement Program Information Assurance Manager Level 1 requirements within six months of contract award and obtain the Certified Counter-Insider Threat Program - Fundamentals certification within the same timeframe. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will help resolve audit alerts in accordance with documented guidance, and contribute to the development of dashboards, filters, and audit policy triggers to enhance audit capabilities.Your role will also involve providing management oversight for all software support activities, including project planning, execution, and control, as well as facilitating project and task management to ensure effective technical oversight for all software-related activities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing requirements from customers and technical personnel, offering implementation recommendations to the Government, and sharing UAM information with internal and external stakeholders as authorized.Required Experience:
  • Minimum 1-year experience in/with a Counter-Insider Threat Program.
  • Obtain Certified Counter-Insider Threat Program - Fundamentals (CCITP-F) within six months of contract award.
  • Possess or obtain certifications meeting specified requirements within six months of contract award, including cybersecurity certifications as per applicable policies.
  • Computer Environment (CE) knowledge and skills.
Additional Preferred Experience:
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
