- One (1) year experience in ambulatory /clinic setting with independent encounters or shared visits
- One (1) year experience as an APP or neuro RN
- Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations
- EPIC EMR experience
- Neuroscience RN Certification (CNRN)
- Membership in professional organizations
- California driver's license (CDL) if required for position.
- Must hold current national certification from an accepted certifying agency and provide by first day of work.
- Accepted Certifications for this position: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
- Current and active RN and NP and Furnishing license in California.
- Complete a BRN recognized graduate master's degree program as a nurse practitioner.
- Active and/or transferable DEA license to California and provide evidence by 90th day of clinical practice. (It is the responsibility of the employee to transfer their DEA license to their new place of employment if from out of state, via online DEA portal and provide evidence of transfer).
- Submit enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through credentialing by first clinical day. CCS enrollment as appropriate for pediatric environments.
- Current AHA BLS.
- State regulation requires that you have a supervising physician to practice
- UCSF Medical Center and Campus requires certain healthcare providers to be credentialed. In most cases this is done through its Office of Medical Affairs & Governance (OMAG) prior to the first working day. Credentialing and approval of the Standardized Procedures takes between 60-90 days but can vary.
