Overview:
WiredPeople is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant. This person will work 12-hour shifts, either mornings or nights. This position is full time and onsite in Warrensburg, MO.Essential Functions:Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feedingSupport residents with mobility and transfers, including use of lifts, wheelchairs, and other adaptive equipmentMonitor and report changes in physical or emotional condition to nursing staff promptlyAssist with implementation of individualized habilitation and behavior support plansPerform routine health checks, including vital signs, weight, and intake/output measurementsMaintain clean and safe living environments, including light housekeeping and infection control practicesEncourage and assist residents in participating in social and recreational activitiesAccurately complete documentation and reports in compliance with facility and state guidelinesQualifications:Current Missouri CNA certification in good standing (required)Minimum 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GED (required)Experience in developmental disability or habilitation care strongly preferredAbility to assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, feeding, dressing, mobility, and toiletingStrong communication and interpersonal skills for working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilitiesAble to follow individualized care plans and document care accuratelyReliable and punctual, with strong attention to detail and safetyAbility to work in a team-oriented environment under supervision of licensed nursing staffMust pass background check, drug screening, and other state-required clearancesWiredPeople provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
