Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.The Radiation Oncology nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients in the radiation oncology department. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The radiation oncology nurse is responsible for patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling and assisting physicians with exams and procedures.Please note the following important details regarding this position:
  • This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.
  • Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location:
  • Texas: Lubbock
  • Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • One (1) year Oncology experience.
