We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects from start to finish. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the job site, ensuring that construction work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the construction project from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating all construction activities.
- Ensure that all construction work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers.
- Maintain a safe working environment on the job site, including implementing and enforcing all safety regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met.
- Review and approve all construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, and codes.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including preparing progress reports and conducting regular meetings with project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit all required project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final close-out documents.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of contractors, laborers, and suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and codes.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
