- Current RN license through the board of nursing in the state of practice.
- Has completed an associate degree in nursing or higher.
- Organized and detail oriented with effective communication skills.
- Can demonstrate intermediate computer skills.
- Shows a positive attitude and is self-directed and can work with little supervision.
- Demonstrates good clinical judgement and observation skills.
- Licensed driver with automobile that is insured in accordance with agency requirements and is in good working order.
- Prefer at least one-year clinical experience in health care and one-year experience in home health as a registered nurse.
- Knowledge of issues related to the delivery of home health services and the ability to problem solve effectively.
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines governing home health agencies or experience/abilities that indicate that with training they would excel.
- Supervisory experience preferred.

- Adheres to HIPAA regulations and follows agency protocol maintaining confidentiality.
- Complies with agency policies and procedures and adheres to all state and federal laws and regulations.
- Receives referrals with enthusiasm from physicians and staff and may participate in entering referral into the Electronic Health Record (EHR), clearly identifying the referral source.
