
Lead Principal Engineer

In your new role you will:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related technical field
- Proven experience in product definition and development, preferably within the automotive or semiconductor industries
- Strong understanding of power electronics, DC-DC converter topologies(e.g., buck converter), and thermal management principles
- Familiarity with automotive qualification standards (AEC-Q100,AEC-Q200) and design for reliability
- Experience with various design tools, such as CAD, CAM, CAE, and simulation programs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline
- Knowledge of automotive systems architecture, including those for electric and hybrid vehicles, autonomous driving, and ADAS
- Experience with advanced product quality planning (APQP) and production parts approval process (PPAP) in the automotive industry
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262)relevant to automotive electronics
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Define and specify innovative POL power solutions for various automotive systems, including infotainment, ADAS, and electric powertrains
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new product opportunities in the automotive POL space
- Collaborate with engineering teams (hardware, software, test, etc.)to translate product requirements into detailed specifications and design guidelines
- Ensure POL products meet relevant automotive qualification standards(e.g., AEC-Q100, AEC-Q200) and other industry regulations
- Work closely with internal and external customers to understand their technical challenges and translate them into product solutions
- Oversee the product lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring smooth development and successful market introduction
- Analyze product performance data and identify areas for improvement and future enhancements
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in power electronics and the automotive industry
- Potentially guide sales and marketing teams on the technical value proposition of new POL products
