ShiftMostly day shift. Monday through Friday. Sometimes to include weekends depending on athletic schedules for schools covered.
Job SummaryUK HealthCare seeks an experienced and motivated Athletic Trainer for a off-campus position in Stanford, KY.This role involves providing injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services for athletes involved in KHSAA sanctioned sports at assigned contracted schools. The Athletic Trainer will collaborate closely with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure optimal care and performance for athletes.Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering primary injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletes at assigned schools.
  • Assisting in event coverage and managing travel for games and sports events.
  • Working alongside physicians and medical staff to monitor and treat athlete injuries.
  • Traveling as required to support game and event coverage.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
  • Ability to accurately evaluate the physical readiness of athletes.
  • Capability to determine and implement effective treatments for sports-related injuries.
  • Proficient in working with athletes to promote their health and recovery.
  • Experience using Healthy Roster for injury tracking and documentation.
  • Proficiency in adjusting and handling multiple tasks in a professional environment.
