Senior Project Engineer

• Must have experience in Minerals processing industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience should include a minimum of 6 years of project management or process improvement experience in an engineering and/or leadership capacity.
• Must have a demonstrated record of accomplishment in a manufacturing culture focused on safety, reliability, and process improvement
• Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, engineering drawings, and procedure manuals and write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
• Develop strategies to achieve organizational goals; Understands organization’s strengths & weaknesses; Analyzes market and competition; Identifies external threats and opportunities
• Use feedback to modify designs and generate creative solutions
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have general knowledge of Spreadsheet and Word Processing software; Process simulation software; Project Management software; Accounting software; Order processing systems; Contact Management systems; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software
• Follow all statutory, regulatory, and organizational procedures to protect the environment from hazardous waste exposure.
• Follow all Federal and State Safety Regulations, and company safety policies/procedures; Report potentially unsafe conditions; Aid in correcting unsafe conditions; Use equipment and materials properly
