- Assist in the development of strategic plans for prospects and clients, outlining a service plan and cross selling opportunities
- Ensure clients' needs are met by fulfilling bespoke and recurring requests as well as working with senior Client Relationship Managers on a wide array of processes and tasks
- Partner with team members to coordinate prospect pitches, product presentations, and requests for proposal
- Identify and escalate any sensitive client issues to senior team members; coordinate a timely response to the client
- Coordinate with key stakeholders across Asset Management, including Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Legal, Technology, Operations and Compliance with a common goal of meeting clients' needs
- Bachelor's degree and strong academic background required
- Previous experience in asset management or related field is a plus
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Ability to grasp problems described by clients, articulate the problems clearly to analyze the problem, and communicate the resulting analysis to clients
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialogue and interactions, and collaborate well with others
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Investment Management Certificate required, or obtained within 3 months of joining
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $90000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.Benefits
