We bring culture-shaping, award-winning work to life across iconic brands like Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Bubly, Mug, and Starry.Our Opportunity!As a Manager, Organic Social Strategy, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing impactful social strategies that amplify our brands’ voices, foster community, and ground our social content in trending conversations and culture. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams - including creative, analytics, and brand teams to drive best-in-class social content and campaigns. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in developing capabilities and processes that position PepsiCo as a leader in digital and social innovation. Responsibilities:Social Strategy Development & Execution:
  • Brand Social Strategy Leadership: Lead platform-specific social strategies for multiple major beverage brands, demonstrating a deep understanding of platform algorithms, engaging content and audiences.
  • Campaign Planning: Translate brand objectives into actionable social plans, including audience insights, channel strategies, and content frameworks.
  • Social Playbooks: Help create and maintain social playbooks that guide tone, visuals, and messaging across platforms.
  • Cultural Relevance: Stay on top of cultural trends, social formats, and algorithm changes and develop a POV on brand relevance and which opportunities to pursue as a brand.
Content & Engagement:
  • Social-First Campaigns: Collaborate with creative teams to ideate and execute social-first campaigns that spark engagement and drive conversations.
  • Real-Time Activations: Partner with community managers to identify and seize opportunities to participate in cultural and trending moments authentically and in real-time.
  • Influencer Integration: Work with the influencer team to incorporate creators into social strategies, amplifying brand messages in unique and impactful .
Capability Development and Innovation:
  • Social Media Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on all social platforms, including emerging platform opportunities and deep understanding of algorithms, culture and content trends, to ensure PepsiCo builds best in class social-first brands.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and streamline processes for digital brand communication across cross-functional partners (Legal, Consumer Relations, Communications, Brand, etc.) in partnership with Corporate Governance.
  • Cultural Thinking: Champion and embed culture-first thinking across the organization, driving strategies that resonate with consumers and align with current cultural landscapes.
Collaboration & Team Support:
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with social listening, analytics, creative, and brand teams to ensure alignment across all social initiatives.
  • Leadership: Act as a mentor and day-to-day leader for junior social strategists, providing guidance, feedback, and best practice support to elevate the team’s work.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present strategies, campaign plans, and performance results to internal stakeholders and brand teams.
Measurement & Optimization:
  • Social Analytics: Collaborate with analytics teams to track performance to inform optimizations.
  • Insights-Led Strategy: Regularly review platform data, cultural insights, and consumer behavior trends to refine strategies and ensure content remains fresh and impactful.
  • Testing & Learning: Drive a test-and-learn approach, leveraging data and experimentation to improve performance and uncover new opportunities for growth.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7-10 years of social media strategy experience within a creative agency or social media-focused role.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with experience crafting and executing platform-specific strategies.
  • Track record of growing reach/engagement of organic social accounts by implementing social strategy
  • Strong ability to analyze audience behavior and turn insights into actionable social strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a strong eye for culturally relevant content.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams, present ideas effectively, and foster strong relationships with cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with social analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
