The level of complexity is high, given the equipment, various network protocols/interfaces, and engineering designs. This will involve assisting in a variety of essential job functions that include the designing, implementing, Integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting network infrastructure and services with expertise/experience at layers 1-7.Qualifications
  • Direct experience with TRANSPORTATION systems and technology extremely favorable.
  • Network design, deployment, implementation, and testing experience
  • Experience in engineering, implementation, and on-site support of networks
  • 5+ years of experience with wired and/or wireless equipment (i.e. Routers, Switches, Firewalls, )
  • Experience with industry standard security practices
  • Experience with network architecture diagrams
  • Experience with system network performance tests (fiber/copper)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends in "OFF-Revenue hours" as
  • Experience with equipment selection, design, implementation and support of enterprise network systems and diagnostic tools
  • One or more certifications are a plus; CCNA, CCNP, Genetec, Nozomi, Extreme Networks, CompTIA, Lenel
  • Network site surveys, design, documentation, commissioning
  • Experience with Switching, Routing, Wifi, CCTV, PoE, LPR, AC/DC, CBTC, EACS helpful
  • Travel 15-30% to customer sites
