
Project Planner/Analyst

- Develop and maintain detailed project and maintenance schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project), aligned with execution strategy, work order flow, inspections, and equipment readiness.
- Perform analytical support through performance measurement, forecasting, and variance analysis across cost, schedule, and productivity metrics.
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness teams to ensure alignment of plans and timely information flow.
- Track the progress and reporting through Earned Value Management (EVM), milestone tracking, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and communicate schedule risks and opportunities; participate in risk reviews and mitigation planning.
- Complete the planning of monthly reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders and executive reviews.
- Collaborate with project controls, finance, and commercial teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning and reporting processes and tools.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and project-specific governance, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years’ of experience in planning, project controls, or project analytics within mining, energy, oil & gas, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management principles and project performance analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience in restart or brownfield projects is highly desirable.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
