Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Greenwood Village, CO or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
11+ years of experience in information Technology.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols, and wireless networking protocols like 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax and 802.11be (Wifi, Wifi 6E and Wifi7)
Good knowledge of CPE testing for Functional, Regression, Sanity for voice, data, RDKB and Docsis features.
Designing and Implementing various Wireless Networks involving various networking standard like DOCSIS.
Install, configure, and maintain wireless network equipment, including access points, routers, switches, and other related devices.
Develop wireless network infrastructure and make recommendations on system enhancements for optimization.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Troubleshoot and Triage network issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize network performance for maximum efficiency.
Certifications like Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Wireless (CCIE Wireless) may be helpful.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
