Position Summary The SPED Teacher will provide a learning experience that is culturally relevant, challenging and fun. Candidates should be driven to prepare children for the future by helping them build confidence and a strong sense of self-worth. This is a flexible, resource teacher position with case manager duties aligning with the expertise and experience of the candidate (e.g. grade level, disability category, etc.). This position is one member of a 6 person SPED Teacher team. What makes the school unique

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • LICENSURE:
  • Option 1: Current Ohio teaching license in content area / grade levels (preferred)
  • Option 2: Equivalent knowledge / experience and willingness to obtain licensure
Desired Skills and Traits
  • Experience teaching in an urban public school or charter school setting
  • At least two years of experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom
