Inspired people, amazing designs, and projects with purpose.Job DescriptionJoin Olsson's Facilities Engineering and Design Team as an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer and contribute to the innovative design of healthcare facilities. In this entry-level role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting engineering tasks, collaborating with experienced professionals, and learning the intricacies of designing reliable, high-performing systems that positively impact healthcare environments.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in designing mechanical systems for small to medium-sized healthcare projects, applying standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Support the preparation of project documents, including drawings, reports, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Conduct basic calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Use design and modeling software to create and modify engineering drawings and layouts.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure successful project execution and clear communication.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of national codes, standards, and regulations relevant to healthcare design.

  • Proficiency with design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) is a plus.
  • A strong desire to contribute to the healthcare industry through impactful mechanical engineering solutions.
