- Build and maintain developer portals and software catalogs using modern web technologies
- Develop plugin architectures and extensible platform components
- Create intuitive user interfaces for developer tools using React and TypeScript
- Implement custom developer experiences that streamline engineering workflows
- Contribute to the design and development of APIs and SDKs for internal developer tools
- Integrate developer platforms with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Octopus Deploy)
- Build automation tools that enhance developer productivity and reduce manual tasks
- Develop service catalogs that enable self-service capabilities for development teams
- Create seamless integrations between developer tools and existing infrastructure
- Implement infrastructure-as-code practices for platform components
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and solve developer pain points
- Design and implement solutions that improve developer productivity and satisfaction
- Create comprehensive documentation, tutorials, and onboarding materials for platform tools
- Build self-service capabilities that reduce developer dependencies on other teams
- Support the implementation of metrics to track platform adoption and developer engagement
- Work with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless system integration
- Develop virtual test environments and CI simulators for development workflows
- Implement security controls and compliance requirements in collaboration with security teams
- Build monitoring and observability features for platform health and usage
- Contribute to platform architecture decisions and technical design reviews
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Hardware, electrical, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, any other related field, or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years’ of related experience
- Ability to travel to domestic or international locations as required, up to 5% of the time
- Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript for both frontend and backend development
- Strong React experience for building developer portal interfaces and components
- API development experience with REST and GraphQL for system integrations
- Modern web development practices including responsive design and component architecture
- Version control expertise with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Developer Platform Technologies
- Experience with developer platform tools such as Backstage, Port, Cortex, or similar platforms
- Understanding of software catalog concepts and service discovery mechanisms
- Knowledge of plugin architectures and extensible system design patterns
- Experience building internal tools and developer-facing applications
- Familiarity with documentation platforms and developer onboarding systems
- CI/CD platform experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
- Basic Kubernetes knowledge for containerized application deployment and management
- Cloud platform familiarity (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with focus on developer services
- Infrastructure automation understanding and configuration management principles
- Container technologies including Docker and basic orchestration concepts
- RESTful API design and implementation for platform service integration
- GraphQL experience for flexible data querying and API design
- SDK development understanding and package management principles
- Microservices architecture knowledge and distributed system concepts
- Authentication and authorization patterns for secure API access
- Security best practices for developer platforms and CI/CD pipelines
- Performance optimization techniques for web applications and APIs
- Testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for platform tools
- Monitoring and observability implementation for platform health and usage metrics
- Compliance frameworks understanding for enterprise development environments

- Paid time off: Exempt Salaried employees receive flexible paid time off. This means that there is no fixed number, range, or limit to the amount of Personal and Vacation Days that may be taken for exempt employees. Non-exempt hourly employees accrue 14 vacation days per year + 7 sick days + 3 personal days. Accrual rate increases with tenure. All employees receive 11 company paid holidays per year. We also close our offices at the corporate level in the U.S. between Christmas and New Year. For operational positions that are expected to work on holidays, we provide additional compensation for hours worked.
