DescriptionTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipe Welders for a project located in and around Freeland, WA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $36/hour based on experience plus $164/Per Diem to travelers 60+ miles from the job site.   • Preparation and layout
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, drawings and piping schematics
  • Prepare and align pipe joints for welding, beveling, cleaning, fitting and tack welding
  • Select correct filler metals, consumables and welding processes
  • Welding fabrication
  • Perform welding on a variety of piping systems, fuel, lube oil, hydraulics, fire main, potable water and steam
  • SMAW, stick, GTAW, TIG, GMAW, MIG and FCAW Fluxcore
  • Installation, repair and weld pipe spools, flanges, brackets and support for shipboard systems
  • Repair cracked, damaged or corroded piping and fittings
  • Perform hot-work aboard vessels
  • Inspection, testing and conduct visual inspections of welds for defects
  • Prepare welds for non-destructive testing such as xray, dye penetrant, ultrasonic or magnetic particle inspection
  • Repair and/or re-weld as necessary
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years of Marine Welder experience
