
Assistant Store Manager - Aftermarket Heavy Duty Truck Parts

- Assist with the increase of store sales by developing and recommending marketing strategies
- Stay up to date on all product lines while maintaining an excellent vendor relationship
- Assist with recommending, hires, trains, schedules, evaluates and directs all store personnel.
- Assist with coaching and mentoring for professional development
- Assists with administration of financial matters including collection and disbursement of funds, payroll, etc.
- Assist with offering customer service through counter sales, communicates directly with customers and national fleet accounts and directs inside and outside sales staff while building and maintaining key customer relationships
- Assist with preparing various reports for Regional Managers
- Assist with adequate inventory levels are being maintained
- Assist with physical inventories
- Minimum one year of related work experience
- Heavy-duty industry knowledge and experience (heavy-duty truck parts and/or heavy-duty service repair)
- Ability to operate power industrial equipment (forklifts, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50+lbs
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- The role is a physically active role
- Will be required to lift, pick, pull, and stock heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50+ lbs with lift assist devices
- Will be required to stand for long periods of time on a variety of surfaces and will be required to operate a forklift
- Will frequently be required to: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing and climbing
- Will frequently use a computer in the course of completing daily activities
- Exposure to typical inside and outside environmental conditions, including, but not limited to dirt, dust, vibration, minimal chemical hazards, noise and temperature variances
- Exposure to retail operations, vehicle services, and general warehouse environment including forklift traffic, inventory staging -- proper safety protocols are expected
