- Develop a detailed and targeted outreach and recruitment strategy plan for NYU Abu Dhabi within the assigned geographic region in consultation with team Lead and subject for approval prior to implementation. First actor in new initiatives and special/technical projects.
- Accountable for recruitment strategy implementation. Recruits and serves as direct point of contact for prospective students applying to NYU Abu Dhabi from assigned geographic regions.
- Develops, maintains, and supports key contacts at partner institutions. Interacts with U.S. and Canadian high schools including high school counselors, heads of schools, school associations and accrediting bodies, community based organizations, and other external constituencies, including prospective students and their influencers, to professionally represent NYU Abu Dhabi and IIE.
- Plans and implements outreach through in-person and virtual recruitment in collaboration with Senior Program Manager and IIE/NYUAD Outreach team.
- Tracks, monitors, and supports production and/or distribution of outreach materials and information. Ensures correct brand usage in creation of all materials.
- Maintains and reports accurate metrics of each phase of enrollment funnel.
- Supports NYUAD Admissions and Counseling team for on-site events and programming as needed.
- Serves as the subject matter expert on educational systems within the designated world region; advises partner and clients on country-specific recruitment and admissions-related considerations.
- Requires a bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of U.S. and/or Canadian secondary and higher education environments, including areas such as international programs, admissions, student services and pre-college student advising.
- Significant experience in an outreach and recruitment role. Must exhibit maturity and be comfortable in a client-centered team and demonstrate ability to use diplomacy in difficult situations.
- Ability to organize and handle a large volume of work under severe time constraints and pressures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
- Superior writing and editing skills and a thorough knowledge of the English language.
- Demonstrates creativity and ability to suggest innovative yet practical solutions to new challenges.
- Able to work as a team player and contribute to the team as well as handles tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management and database software.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook and applicable outreach and recruitment mediums.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally with an active and valid driver’s license.
- Experience with U.S. and/or Canadian pre-college/high school outreach, recruitment, and/or admissions strongly preferred.
