We are looking for a Ford Field Service Technician to support our customers with onsite service and repair needs. This position handles maintenance, diagnostics, and installations in the field, requiring a mix of technical expertise and strong customer interaction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automotive service and the ability to work independently while delivering professional, high-quality results.ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site support and service for customer vehiclesPerform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance using modern diagnostic toolsComplete inspections and document findings accuratelyCarry out light and medium-duty repairs in:Electrical systems and brakesHeating/air conditioningDrivetrain, suspension, and steeringEngines and transmissions (gas and diesel)Prepare and submit accurate repair orders and reportsIdentify maintenance needs, warranty issues, and product upgradesCollaborate with management and team members to resolve technical issuesProvide customers with training and guidance when necessaryOperate all shop and field equipment safely and maintain a clean work environmentConsistently meet or exceed efficiency goals of 85%QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 2 years of experience in a light or medium-duty automotive service facilityExperience in one or more categories: Automobile (A1-9), Medium/Heavy Truck (T1-8), School Bus (S1-7), Transit Bus (H1-8)Ability to earn a CDL with passenger and air brake endorsementsASE certifications (or ability to pass tests) requiredSolid diagnostic and problem-solving skillsProfessional demeanor with strong communication and customer service skillsDependable, self-motivated, and detail-orientedPhysical RequirementsLift, push, or pull up to 50 poundsFrequent kneeling, squatting, stooping, crawling, and climbingManual dexterity to work with tools and partsAbility to maintain a valid CDL, including medical exam and driving requirementsPay & BenefitsPay determined by skills and certificationsFull-time schedule with some flexibilityBenefits include:Health, dental, and medical coverage401(k) planPaid vacation and personal timeEmployee vehicle purchase programProfessional growth and training opportunitiesLong-term stability and supportive work environmentAbout Us
