- Must be willing to run both solo and team routes.
- Fill in for drivers who are out sick, on vacation, etc.
- Deliver aftermarket parts (e.g., hoods, bumpers, doors) to Honda dealerships.
- Unlock dealership gates/doors at night.
- Unload trailer, scan new load, pick up returns, and lock up dealership.
- Maneuver tractor-trailer in tight corridors in car lots, primarily in Chicago at night.
- Comfortable with city driving in Chicago.
- Touch Freight: Automotive parts (cages, totes, loose pieces)
- Flex drivers home Saturday night - Sunday night, guaranteed weekend home time. Start back out Monday PM.
- 2014-2021 Peterbilt trucks with automatic transmission, Pre-Pass, and EZ Pass.
- 28'/48' Dry Van with lift gates.
- Truck speed 65 pedal and cruise
- Truck parking at Honda part center in Davenport, IA
- 6 months recent tractor-trailer experience.
- Double endorsement preferred but not required on this account.
- Comfortable with maneuvering in downtown Chicago.
- Physical requirements: Handling, positioning, and securing delivery roller cages, lifting loose boxed parts (40-75 lbs).
- Solo Pay: GUARANTEED $1350 Minimum Weekly
- Team Pay: GUARANTEED $1550 Minimum Weekly
- Pay increase every 6 months until max pay is reached
- Stop Pay: $13.00 solo, $15.00 team split (8 stops averaging)
- Delay Pay: $18.54 per hour solo, $9.27 per hour team after 15 min free time
- New Hire Transition Bonus: $500, paid in full on the second paycheck.
- Referral Bonus: $3,000, paid out at $1,000 on the second paycheck, $1,000 at 60 days, and $1,000 at 120 days.
- Paid 2 day orientation $500 (paid transportation, hotel room and 3 meals per day, Atlanta, GA, starts every Tuesday)
