Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, storage, and network infrastructure within the physical data center. Performs installations, configurations, and upgrades of hardware and software components. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for data center operations. Manage server virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Optimize and perform capacity planning for power and cooling systems to enhance energy efficiency. Conduct routine security audits and ensure compliance with policies. Maintain an up-to-date asset inventory. Develop and maintain datacenter operational documentation, including system diagrams and procedures. Provide support for escalated issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Enterprise scale data center operations or system administration. 5-8 years of experience with racking and stacking server hardware, virtualization, and storage solutions. Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds) and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP) are a plus
